Who Are The American Legion Riders?
The American Legion Riders Group
was formed in 1993, in Garden City, Michigan
at Post 396.
The Groups National Headquarters Chapter is still
Post 396.
It consist of members of the American Legion
Post
(Post Auxiliary or S.A.L) who ride motorcycles.
The purpose of this group is
to promote the aims and purposes of the
American Legion. Each group is
sponsored by a local American Legion
Post and works in conjunction with the
Post to provide service to the community,
state and nation.
There are, today, several
groups formed throughout the
country. These groups of American
Legion Motorcyclist are involved with many
charities and Veterans issues. They also
participate in ceremonies and parades
that are in keeping with promoting the
image of the American Legion.
